Engineer by trade, autodidact by nature. I am easily intrigued, with innumerable interests to show for it: science, music, literature, strange little corners of the internet. My favorite rabbit holes, however, are other people.

You don’t have to like the same things I do. Tell me a story, your strangest opinion, or some niche obsession you’ve been waiting for an excuse to talk about (it’s me, I’m the excuse). I’m neurodivergent and much sillier than I first seem. I can spend an evening in profound conversation followed by an embarrassingly competitive game of Mario Kart (seriously, I’ve been practicing my wall riding technique).

I like getting to know someone well enough that we stop having to start from the beginning. Time disappears, and suddenly we’re wondering how it got so late. There’s something lovely about knowing what will make you laugh and how you take your coffee. I’m also very easy to tempt out into the world, whether that means exploring an abandoned mining town or simply trying a new restaurant. Give me good conversation, a little mischief, and something worth getting dressed up (or down) for.

Anyway, I’m much more fun to discover than to summarize.
